Remedial repairs to difficult access areas of structures used to be a major operation.

Scaffolding, EWP, all sorts of expensive means to get to the works locations, often just to carry out something really simple. These costs meant that many facilities managers, building managers and other parties would delay preventative and reactionary maintenance on small problems due to budgetary constraints and over time what was initially a small problem turned into a major remedial repair issue.
