Seal expansion joints by abseiling
12/04/2011
Rope access or abseiling is one very simple and cost effective way to seal expansion joints between concrete panels on new constructions, or replace the sealant between panels on older buildings.
It is inevitable with older buildings that sealant will perish over time. How long depends on the quality of the product and the thoroughness of the application. Our team of industrial rope access abseilers can either do backing rod and seal of new panels, or cut out old expansion joint material and redo the joins for you at a cost effective rate.
We have literally done hundreds of kilometers worth of expansion joints over the years and we can provide you with a great finish to your construction project or a rejuvenation of your existing joints.

Saving time and money using rope access
21/02/2011
If your project requires access equipment, or scaffolding etc, stop and think about rope access before you start throwing huge amounts of money at hiring access equipment.
This is a common error with a lot of projects where abseiling can be the method of access to undertake the tasks involved. Sure, some projects are not suitable for using this method, however if you were completing a building made out of precast panels and you wanted the expansion joints sealed, abseiling is the perfect way to go about it. A team of abseilers can seal expansion joints vertically once the scaff etc is gone. This means you can cut down on the length of scaff hire and save money.
