Render Repair Project Residential

Remedial Render Repair Works are currently being carried out by Advanced Solutions Group on a major residential building in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney.

Our skilled and professional abseilers are midway through repairing large areas of cracking and degraded render, which has been falling from the structure due to incorrect installation upon construction and insufficient expansion allowances.

We are pleased to be able to provide an answer to building management for what is clearly an area of major concern.

One of the many pieces of original render which was partially missing at the time we carried out our initial survey was over 6 metres long and 3 metres high. This very large piece of render had fallen to the roof of the building below and presented a very big task in removing the remaining pieces of bulging render without allowing large pieces to continue to fall to the area below. There were around 20 other areas on the structure with cracked, bulging and loose render, where our team have carried out render removal, grinding & cutting, preparation of the surface, re-rendering, waterproofing and painting in order to begin to restore the facade of the structure to how it looked when it was first constructed and to eliminate the possibility of these areas we have worked on from falling again.

Advanced Solutions Group Pty Ltd have secured a new project to carry out remedial repairs to the external facade of the stair pods on a commercial building at 436-484 Victoria Road Gladesville for Dexus / CB Richard Ellis.

Our expert team will be carrying out the repairs using Industrial Rope Access to abseil down the external facade’s to remove and replace sikaflex expansion joints by abseil and concrete repairs requiring abseil contractors to remove damaged spalled concrete and clean internal corroded reinforcing to bare steel then coat with a specialised primer Sika MonoTop 610 then apply patch repairs mortar Sika MonoTop 615 CI then fninsh to suit existing profile and this is all performed using industrial rope access a mean to abseil any are of a building to carry out facade maintenance.

High Rise Abseil Window Cleaning 5 Hunter Street Sydney

Our expert team of abseil window cleaners have provided a solution for accessing and cleaning windows using abseil window cleaning method connecting to twin rope connected to certified anchor points located on the roof of the building, so our abseil contractors can descend the external facade to clean the external glass, this solution allowed us to provide a cost effective solution without the need for expensive BMU equipment (that requires high maintenance costs) as the cost alone for our method is comparable to the maintenance cost alone for Building Maintenance Units before personnel even start to clean windows.
